Half-Day Corporate Team Building

This corporate team building format provides team members with an opening lecture discussing team skills, their components and how these lessons can be implemented in the corporate environment.

J/World TeamBuilding is frequently asked to deliver one-half day team building programs, often in concert with larger corporate meeting agendas. Our facilitators and coaches provide team members with a thorough pre-sailing briefing, plenty of time on the water in one of our J80’s, and a thought provoking dockside wrap-up. No matter the outcome of the activities and excersises on the water, the lessons learned in the half-day corporate team building program will help every team member gain insights into functioning more productively within today's work place. We are specially experienced and suited for working with executive teams and high level groups. Typical Half Day Team Building Agenda

1200: Group arrives at J/World facility.
12:15 – 1:00: Teams enjoy a box lunch waterside while participating in an interactive, fast-paced Orientation and Goal Setting session for the day.
1:00 – 1:45: Teams and instructors board their J/80’s and depart to learn the basics of sailing along with the roles and positions the participants will play on the boat throughout the day.
1:45 – 4:00: Teams and their onboard instructors engage in competitive and/or cooperative activities on the water.
4:00 – 5:00: Teams return and dock their boats. The large group re-assembles waterside to debrief the day’s events, share the day’s learning, and create strategies to put this learning to use. Our most popular “add-on” is the addition of wine/beer & appetizers to this afternoon, waterside debrief session.
5:00: Group departs J/World facility.
